Updates!!
Last time we left you we were finishing up with the studio session. I was off to Brazil. (See pictures below and I'll let you decide for yourself how good of a time I had.)
So, let's see if I can make a real long story short. We got our first mixes of the songs from our producer, Jason, right before Christmas. I was super excited. They were sounding very good. There was definitely work that had to be done on them. Since is my first time recording anxiety got the best of me at time b/c I was wondering the spots where I went off key would really be fixed!
As the process unfolded Jason would ask us to write down our thoughts and give them to him. He went through the process of making fixes to the tracks and creating an unbelievable sound.
We had to re-record a few things. Let me just say that Jason has been awesome throughout the whole process. I am very happy with the way things are sounding!
I also worked a lot with Helena, our friend and graphic designer, on the artwork for the album. At this point I will just say it looks bad ass!!
This past week we decided what songs would go on the album and the order of them.
And... here we are!! Getting pysched up for the CD release party!! (Now that was a pretty short story to cover 2 months!!)
