Day 1 of recording done

What's up, y'all? This is my first post here (Dan and Jim are the bloggers of the band) but it is a proud one. Day 1 of our studio sessions are done and it was a killer. 10 hours of take after take. Dan was a monster throughout the marathon session. So was Jim... so much so he even broke a string on his bass.

I'm beat, and I showed up a couple of hours late! Jason, our producer can't even keep his eyes open as he sits at my desk listening to our work today, trying to choose the best takes to which we can record guitar and vocals tomorrow.

We are back at it again in the morning. We should be all done with drums by around noon. Then we will probably head over to a different studio where they have some great gear we will use to record guitars and vocals.

The atmosphere in the studio was upbeat, fun, playful... we'll see if we can maintain that as the days go by!
